the_pinkdressJust going off your first sentence, I feel like Lorde is in that stage when you hit about 25 and think you are fully grown up now and there’s almost a smugness about it. I think it’s the first time you truly understand how time passes… and also, you get that first kind of settled feeling, like in a sense you’ve come into yourself. However, IMO you are still a baby at 25, and it’s really that late 20s-early 30s that hits you super hard and you genuinely grow tf up. I’ve just seen her say a lot of definitive stuff about being old now and I’m sure she has a lot of growing to do.
Sorry to hijack your comment, but yeah the sentiment of ‘you’re going to grow out of your old tastes’ doesn’t ring that true to me, although perhaps it would’ve at 25.
