I know OF is doing this purely for capitalistic reasons and have zero concern about the societal effect of making entering sex work so widespread and easy. They want to be more appealing to advertisers and investors. But like... the way OF normalized the idea of being excited to turn 18 so that you could start selling nudes and made it like a casual nbd thing was WILD. The accessibility and place in the popular consciousness of OF made it very easy for young women to get into an industry that they don't fully understand the potential repercussions of being part of.
