i can't answer your question because i didn't write the comment you're replying to but i can say that there's so much gullibility in a lot of people new to progressivism and they fall for whatever they think they want to hear. but it's not just the baby progressives, it happens a lot with those who have self-id'd as such for a while. and a big reason for it is because it is all self-id, much of it claimed from simply using twitter or finding solace for a grievance. there is no political party, there is no central doctrine, tenets, etc. it's all a concept.
