It's weird to me that people give Dakota Johnson so much credit for taking Ellen down... I feel like most of their exchange was actually a comedy bit. I mean, how would Ellen's staffer have known about Dakota's birthday party? Dakota's deadpan delivery made it seem more contentious than it was.

I think skit or not, her calling Ellen out on lying was the final blow. Like there had always been rumors about her before but then they intensified after the George bush thing and then the Dakota thing she did SO well if it was acting that it was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
