i'm so happy to be starting a new job soon. also the timing of giving my notice to my current employer couldn't have happened at a better time. with the extra days off we got for july 4th, plus pto i already had approved, i technically am only working for one week til i'm gone lol.

but also i'm kinda nervous about starting this new job. i spoke to my direct mgr this week. it was supposed to be an interview, but high ups wanted me so bad that they made me an offer before she got a say LMAO. i kinda got salty vibes from her about this, but apart from initial training, i don't think i have to interact with her that much cuz she's based on the east coast and I'm out west.

also i got a call from the freaking cfo saying how excited they are for me to join. i was like, this is weird... lmao. maybe cuz i'm just an antisocial asshole, i feel weirded out by it. but idk i guess i'll see for myself soon what kind of environment i'm stepping into.
