So I have been continuously rejected by the men my age I am interested in. Im reclusive and loud and bookish, and I'm interested in men who write or who have somewhat similar interests, but I've found they're typically too gay or not into me. So, I had the ingenious idea of just looking for a college professor. Why not just date one at your uni, you might ask. Well, the problem is I am taking a few years away from college until I'm less hot and stupid, and can better afford it.
Is this genius or stupid, or plain creepy?

I bought a piece of tv memorabilia on eBay. Afterward I got a message from the seller asking for me to send them a box of archives to them. It made no sense to me so I ignored it
I received the item in the mail, and later I received a fedex envelope with a check and a note asking that I send them the archives and how they really need it. I was confused and kinda freaked out thinking maybe I’ve accidentally entered some kinda deal without realizing? lol
I message them explaining my confusion. It turns out that someone with my same first and last name use to work with them in tv I guess, and was supposed to send them these archives but just, like, disappeared or something. They assume from my name that I was them 🤷♀️ They then told me to rip up the check they sent that was supposed to cover the mailing costs for sending the archives. I did it ofc lol
