what happened?

erased her entire problematic comment history & changed her account name to hide the fact she was a known combative asshole. the name change happened in august then she deleted 15 years of her problematic history within the past few weeks. and apparently voted for herself to be ontd member of the year.

you know how astrobrit is about robert pattinson? ibby/ibkod, from my memory, was like that about timotheé chalamet. she went nuts when chalamet was taking heat for the woody allen shit. the others nonnas know a lot more about it than me, hopefully they can add on.

lmao did you completely miss the part about her deleting her comments & changing her un? she literally erased the receipts. but if you go on her profile page you will see she forgot to change her 'name' from ibkod on her profile after she said he'd her username to ibby. you can also see on her profile page that she changed her username on august 31, 2000.

you can do a simple search on livejournal and see for yourself that 15 years of her comments now no longer exist despite being heavily active for 15 years. no comments from 'ibby' before 2020 show up.

OMG, YES, NOW I KNOW WHO YOU ALL ARE TALKING ABOUT! i vividly remember her in every chalamet post. damn it, there was so much crazy shit she would say and leave paragraphs long replies defending him. and it wasn't just his shitty fake apology about woody allen, it was the nepotism crap, vehemently defending a rainy day in new york, popping off at people having harmless fun with his name like everyone does with cumberbatch, and a lot of other shit.

she had no skin in the game so i've never understood the focus on her dismissing the very real fears of american voters in that post who had endured relentless trauma the past 4 years & were staring down the barrel of far worse, as being some heroic act.

what did this white bitch from canada have to fear from a trump presidency when should would have continued to be perfectly fine in canada as she has been the past 4 years? if she were living in south america or the middle east or was a minority i doubt she would have been feeling so calm & confident in dismissing the fear of others.

i could not possibly agree more with this assessment.

not only that but she was also only doing that in the first election FFA, she wasn't in the later ones nearly as much. I was in all of those posts a lot so I was continually confused by people still crediting her on like day 4 with "keeping everyone calm"

this. and if i had to name the users who were memorable for being supportive or chill or keeping us sane by cracking jokes i would not have been thought of ibby/ibkod. honestly, beysactingcoach was the real hero making those posts and keeping people in line.
