I don't hate it but this place has more in common with r/redscarepod than it would like to admit

not really. there's at least some users who are semi-smart on that sub or at least culturally competent and can speak about politics, history, lit, film, etc. with some references. everyone here seems braindead for the most part and someone literally spends time copy and pasting comments from that sub here to fill space.
