i think it is crazy that there are people on ontd who let other users come live with them. i won't even share my name with those crazies.

I mean, I think you guys are being a little judgemental. Yes, the Internet is full of predators and psychos, but it can also be just another medium to meet people. There are in fact real, normal people on the Internet. Especially if you're exchanging social medias and feel like the person is legit. Ofc catfishing is a thing but it usually happens in dating situations.
