I mean, I think you guys are being a little judgemental. Yes, the Internet is full of predators and psychos, but it can also be just another medium to meet people. There are in fact real, normal people on the Internet. Especially if you're exchanging social medias and feel like the person is legit. Ofc catfishing is a thing but it usually happens in dating situations.
i know, but these people are all friends from the same OT comms and lj friend circles and they're all kinda... unpleasant? i could see making an online friend and irl friend somewhere else but not really on ONTD. it just seems like a recipe for disaster.
