real q is there anything wrong with Jehovah’s Witness? i didn’t think it was that different from Catholic/Baptist/Adventist or whatever they just don’t celebrate holidays
they are on par with scientology. i think all organized religion is a scam but i'd rank scientology & jehovah's witnesses as the most fraudulent & deadly in America even though they don't have the power & reach that catholics, evangelicals, muslims, judaism has. you can argue based on thousands of years of history that those established religions have more death, corruption, abuse, etc. but that's not really a fair comparison
They refuse and look down on certain medical treatments. This isn't just a jw problem but they tend to keep things hidden within their congregation and not tell authorities. Like they also keep a database of child abusers and refuse to turn it over.
They are against blood transfusions. My uncle was a JW. He had a stroke and church members harassed my cousins in the hospital because they didn’t want him to get any blood transfusions.
