She def doesn't always blame it on race tho? I mean it's not far fetched to believe what she said about the Grammys. Also lbr though Beyoncé was also getting the vanguard award too? it's not the same context. Also the baddie culture def was ushered in by nicki and co. Obviously Kim is the blueprint but Nicki completely commercialized hip hop in a way that allows for
grandiose videos like Wap and rap girls now getting SOLO hits.

the VMAs are def not racist, they are always celebrating black musicians. most of the noms go to black artists now.
