Maybe it’s because we’re all holed up at home because of COVID, WAP came out at a time that got everyone’s attention.
Megan’s Savage Remix is better than WAP.

I agree, not a fan of WAP because Cardi's verses suck, she just isn't a real rapper. The beat is meh, it's just explicit during a time we're all bored like you said.
Savage was really fun, the remix was A+ too.
