Maybe because weed is unfairly stigmatized in social and work spaces where it shouldn’t be? People wouldn’t be defensive about it if it were regulated like tobacco and people being weren’t punished for consuming it

They are. I think many rely on drugs too much

They don’t want to admit they’re emotionally dependent (not addicted, dependent) on weed. It’s pretty hard to crawl out of because weed makes everything not suck. But life is life, and it’ll suck whether you smoke weed or not, so you might as well learn other healthier ways to cope that won’t do long term damage to your short term memory.
