yeah but this was happening after her commercial peak. So what gives. The Pink Print deserved a Grammy imo.

for the #1, honestly, there’s an element of luck that factors into hitting it. it can come down to what else was released at the same time. for the grammy, i think people never really took nicki all that seriously unfortunately and the strong ties she had to pop stars and pop music made it harder for people to see her as a rapper worthy of best rap anything.

she deserved a grammy though. the solo #1, whatever, she has plenty of hits that will be remembered. that’s only a diss on stan twitter and to mariah carey lol.
