Depends on the genre. Country and rock would welcome them back after a while. Pop and hip hop would not.

cultural appropriation isn't seen as racism against black people by most of the GP, obviously. look at all of the big pop stars lol. bieber, ariana, billie. all culture vultures. blackface is obviously a bigger offense.
