We have heard of toxic masculinity but.....but I began to wonder, is there toxic femininity?

definitely but it's called sorophobia from what i understand. basically the phenomenon of "not like other girls" that a good amount of women go through and how it's a conditional response to ra-ra sisterhood kumbaya shit.

definitely but i felt like OP was asking if there was an academic term like "toxic masculinity" in relation to toxic feminity and sorophobia is one of the terms that gets thrown around in situations like that.

humans in general are tribal creatures, the type of toxic exclusionary shaming that happens in toxic masculinity is present in a lot of different cultures, it's just that toxic masculinity itself has been ingrained so hard that it is often the foundational basis from which many other problematic systems originate.
