I'm usually one to shut up and listen to black users but jesus christ, even Sha'Carri has taken responsibility for her actions. It's an incredibly unfortunate situation and I really feel for her, but the outrage is fucking ridiculous. She did something she wasn't suppose to do and now is suffering consequences. I can't with the "rules are rules" people. First of all, she was under acute stress. Second, the rule is fucking bullshit. Would we say "rules are rules" if someone got banned for, e.g., having sex? Not pledging allegiance to the flag? Wearing or refusing to wear makeup? Some rules are bullshit and this one has roots in anti-blackness, and to a lesser extent, anti-socialism (it was used to discredit and imprison activists). I'm with her 100%.

You can be mad and wish a happy ending for her (and she will get it, she has a brilliant future in front of her imo) without being unreasonable.
