Nicki is one of the best rappers period. Male or female. I argue that I don't think she has a good ear for music. for the #1, honestly, there’s an element of luck that factors into hitting it. it can come down to what else was released at the same time. for the grammy, i think people never really took nicki all that seriously unfortunately and the strong ties she had to pop stars and pop music made it harder for people to see her as a rapper worthy of best rap anything.
